We are pleased to say this is our final outage update. Every member who can be restored has received power.
The tornadoes and severe thunderstorms on Tuesday, July 21 left approximately 6,000 members without power and 25 broken poles across our system. After approximately 2,500 man-hours of power restoration, everyone is going home safely.
We want to take a moment to share our thanks to our members and community partners. Your support and patience are so appreciated.
We also want to publicly thank our entire employee team as well. It takes all of us working together to restore service.
We want to also thank our mutual aid partners for coming to assist with our restoration efforts.

We also owe a ‘Thank You’ to the members who offered and assisted our employees as they completed restoration.
Lastly, we want to say a special ‘Thank You’ to our families. We understand the stress placed on our spouses, parents, grandparents, and friends when we have to miss family time or special occasions because the lights go out. We appreciate your efforts to keep the home fires burning in our absence.
Thank you,
