2026 Farmers RECC Annual Meeting

Farmers RECC held its Annual Meeting on July 9, 2026, at the Cave Area Conference Center. This year featured a drive-thru registration process where members were able to register and pick up their Annual Meeting gifts from 8AM to 4PM. At 2PM, it was determined that a quorum was present and Board Chairman, Randy London called the business meeting to order.

Farmers RECC President and CEO, Toby Moss, announced to the members that this would be his last annual meeting with the cooperative as he moves into the same role at a different cooperative to be closer to family. He reflected on the accomplishments of the cooperative during his tenure. Mr. Moss highlighted the growth and successes Farmers RECC has achieved while continuing its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and affordable electric service to its members. During his remarks, Mr. Moss recognized his successor, Mr. Chuck Bishop, and offered congratulations and best wishes as he prepares to lead the cooperative.

Mr. Moss concluded his address by recognizing Farmers RECC's 2026 Washington Youth Tour delegates and scholarship recipients. Following Mr. Moss's remarks, Jenna Glass, Provost of Farmers RECC representing Campbell, Myers, and Rutledge, presented the report of the Nominating Committee. Ms. Glass reported that Brandi Williams was unopposed in her filing for re-election for District I Board seat. Ms. Glass also reported that James "Jamie" Moss II and Greg Wilson were both accepted by the Nominating Committee as candidates for the District III Director position.

Ms. Glass further presented the results of the District III Director election. After ballots were cast, James "Jamie" Moss II received 54.5% of votes, while Greg Wilson received 45.5%. Mr. Moss will be officially seated as the District III Director at the cooperative's next Board of Directors meeting.

Incoming President and CEO, Chuck Bishop, was then invited to the podium. Mr. Bishop expressed his dedication to Farmers RECC and its members, noting his more than 30 years of service to the cooperative.

Chairman Randy London then asked the audience if there was any other business to come before the membership. Finding none, the meeting was adjourned.
